It’s time we get together. Join new and old faces along the shores of Lake Superior’s Chequamegon Bay for a celebration of queer pride. On Saturday, July 31 from 3-6pm, we’ll be at the Bayview Park Pavilion at 1803 Lake Shore Drive East in Ashland. We’ll have food, music, activities, and good company. All are welcome.
Food & Drink
Yes, there will be food! You can expect summer grill-out staples, a broad use of the word ‘salad’, and other Midwest favorites. We are wing to find options that can accommodate different dietary restrictions, as well. Plan on bringing your own drink if you want to make sure you have one.
This is a small-budget, community event. As such, we’re doing it potluck style. Connect with us if you’re interested in bringing something!
Activities
Accessibility
No steps are required to get to any activities, and there is a flat, even, paved surface from parking areas to the pavilion.
If you need a ride, reach out. Depending on availability, we might be able to arrange for a carpool. The sooner you can let us know, the more time we have to plan for it.
Parking
There are two large parking lots in Bayview Park; the pavilion is between the two. Additional street parking is available in the neighborhoods of 21st Avenue East and 15th Avenue East.
